The annual growth rate of the modern Islamic financial products and services across the world as at 2013 is 20.4% (indicative), but undesirably noted here that, the adequate Shari’ah justified knowledge, research, solutions and development to support the above growth are yet far behind. What Niche for Malaysia with the Scheme (K-Hub) whilst the Operation in Nature Exists at Home & Abroad as well?
It is an undeniable fact that, some selected Islamic banking, finance & commerce related knowledge based programs and activities are offered and or undertaken by individuals, institutions and organizations in different parts of the world including in Malaysia, which may be estimated at about 30% of the total demands of the global industries.
Despite such a phenomena, the existing offerings & activities with knowledge and information in the specialized sectors of Islamic finance and business have not sufficiently been claiming to meet the global industrial demands as to required qualified professionals to support the industrial growth through the right Shari’ah trained corporate-professionals.
Malaysia has been known with appreciation by
the world of Islamic corporate knowledge to have been playing a potential role
with utmost concern in preparing the professionals with knowledge and due
experiences to support the Islamic financial and corporate industries across
the world. Despite such continuing effort, its realisation is only at an
average level as compared to what the annual industrial growth at 20.4% and its
parallel professional demands in supporting the industries globally. Furthermore,
the programs and the activities offered and undertaken by the local
institutions have not also been comprehensive enough in covering all practical
subjects, components or sectors with detail Shari’ah justified solutions
so to meet the corporate demands in managing the industries with right
directions as required by the Shari’ah standard.
Therefore, it is timely for the government of Malaysia
in its talented capacity to take an effective immediate opportunity to lead the
Islamic corporate-human capital & professional development scheme with
applied knowledge, research & talents in view of producing talented
professionals and industrial solutions for the Islamic financial and corporate
industries as per today’s global demands, through the establishment of a first ever “International
